Motorola Announces an Investment in Apprion

Through its strategic venture capital arm, Motorola announced an investment in Apprion, a provider of open industrial wireless networks and applications. With the Motorola Ventures investment, Apprion has raised more than $23.5 million. Apprion delivers advanced wireless products, applications and services for industrial plants. Apprion's ION System promises industrial facilities can cost-effectively deploy and manage multiple wireless applications as one unified, integrated system.
